On average, Lakshmi changes her clothes three times a day. She does not always wear these clothes around the lair but she often is caught mid-change by those who might be coming by to check on their items. Lakshmi is the Guardian of the Vault, protecting the gold and valuables within. For most dragons in this position, it would mean keeping the doors locked and the items under their charge securely behind their individual vaults. For Lakshmi it means trying on the expensive finery and lounging in luxurious apparel all day long. That isn't to say it is all she does - if anything in her charge is threatened by a thief or a dragon who would do the items harm, she is a vicious creature willing to draw blood or worse. She has an assistant in the job of keeping the vaults safe - Plutus, another fae of great intelligence and wits. No matter what Plutus does he can never seem to get into Lakshmi's favor as she believes he is incompetent and incapable of following orders.

Her age and perceived wisdom that comes along with it has given her a certain standing among the younger members of the clan. They respect her and stay polite in her company. Very few, if any, of the younger dragons will dare each other to violate Lakshmi's guard. Of course, this same respect is not granted to her by those who have known her the longest. The other elder dragons know she is a simple creature, not that incredibly bright and easily swayed by gifts. She has been with the clan long enough that she has earned a place among them, having come out of her Hewn City and into the Sundial Terrace with the rest of them.
