Keii

It is an odd occasion indeed to see Keii not buried in a map or scribbling furiously on a piece of parchment. A passionate, cheerful, and perhaps overly hopeful dragon, there's nothing they love more than maps and adventure. They usually don't get too far on solo adventures - Keii needs the company of other dragons, and gets anxious and lonely on their own - but they spend plenty of time strategizing how they could take the whole Clan on a grand adventure - maybe to the Starfall Isles or the Ashfall Waste or - well, so many places to go, so little time! They've yet to convince the Clan leaders that this is a really exciting and good idea, anyway, but surely it's only a matter of time before they too feel the pull of adventure!

Keii is from a rather well-to-do family of the Dragonhome. Their parents were kind, but distant, and Keii was a shy hatchling who had a hard time talking to the others of the Clan. Once they were old enough, their parents sent them off as a diplomat to see the world. "You can come home anytime," their parents said. Keii whimpered. They'd never lived alone before. Keii's mother took off her own glittering choker and put it around their neck. "Be strong, young one."

Keii traveled, wrapped in vest, mantle, and the choker they never took off. Their chagrin at leaving their home and family began to dissipate as the wind carried them far, far away from Earth territories. The world was so wide! So beautiful and variable! The mountains and valleys, the forests, the oceans - everything stretched out before them. Keii's new Clan received them well, and though they'd love to travel further, they love their new family and are content, for now, with maps.
