Arcadia

Arcadia was not born into a lair. Her egg was found abandon on the ice flows. The clan of ice dragons who found it were hoping it would hatch and be something strong to help their lair grow great. They wanted a guardian or mirror, even a tundra but not a fae. When she hatched they looked down upon her with disappointment and cast her out. She survived alone and clanless in the icelands before she left. If this was what the ice clanners were like she wanted nothing to do with them. She spent years wandering the world looking for somewhere to belong.

When she wandered into the fire lands she'd been caught outside in a fire storm, the sky was literally raining fire. She took shelter beneath a toppled stone spire hoping only to survive the storm. She thought she was done for for sure.

But then she heard an emotionless voice say "Come out of there and I'll take you to safety."

She looked out from under her rocky shelter and saw the towering form of a male imperial. His hide was white, his wings dark red and he had many scars. The fire falling from the sky landed on his back and sizzled out without burning him. He was fire clan and as he looked down at her with glowing fiery eyes she was afraid.

He waited silently until she crept out of her shelter. He extended one enormous wing to shield her from the 'rain'.

She kept close by his side as he lead her to safety. She cautiously looked up at him, he seemed totally calm and uncaring. He didn't ask who she was or where she was from and he didn't seem to care that she was ice clan.

She asked timidly "Who are you?"

Without looking down at her he said "My name is Harrison."

He brought her home to Maiden's Reach where she met Tyre and her new family.

Now she'd been with her new clan in the ashfall waste for a few years. They had welcomed her with open arms and hearts and she felt truly loved.

Yet her rescuer remained an intriguing mystery to her, he hadn't spoken to her since that day and no one in the lair seemed to like him much. She was determined to find a way to thank him for saving her life and hopefully get to know him.
