Biography
Sudhir Storyteller Mate of Unnamed Sudhir is originally a traveller. He would journey across Sornieth alone, sharing stories of himself and others with clans from all flights. Travelling helped him learn about the world in a different way compared to if he was settled in a clan. Well, at least that's what he thought until he came across a slightly unusual group. They seemed to be a group of misfits. None of them quite belonged together and there wasn't a similarity between them, but they seemed cohesive somehow. There was a group of dragons who were unwanted from a Plague clan, but most of the rest of them seemed to come from all over the place. They weren't stereotypically beautiful either. Sure, they were charming in their own way, but not beautiful. And yet... Sudhir clicked with them in a way he never had done with any of the countless clans he had visited before. He intended to stay long enough to share his stories with this nameless group of misfits, but in the end he just never left. He still travels to other places to share his wisdom, only now he has a place to return to once he has shared all he can. Will he stay forever? He doesn't know. But at least for now, this strange group nestled in The Hewn City seems to be the closest thing to a home he has ever found. |
Wildbeast subspecies: Wildbeast dragons originate from hybrids of Light and Earth dragons in the North and East of Sornieth, where they remain most common; struck by wanderlust, the first wildbeasts were outcasts from both flights, unfit for the sedentary life of monument-builders and classical scholars. Once formed, the first wildbeast clans initially took refuge into the Veridian Labyrinth and this is the reason most wildbeasts developed a more primal nature than their flights of origin. They tend towards an ascetic lifestyle and are a nomadic breed, living in small to medium packs and never carrying more than necessary with them. Wildbeasts do value the pursuit of truth more than other dragons, however they do not believe this should be confined to library halls or the study of ancient ruins; wisdom comes from all paths of experience. Lorekeepers and storytelling are essential to the preservation and transmission of wildbeast knowledge. Morphs can vary depending on regions; colouration in particular tend to be influenced by habitat, with darker specimens occuring more often within the Veridian Labyrinth, while pale wildbeast dragons most frequent in the Sunbeam Ruins and Dragonhome. |
