______ Born upon the breeze from a wind egg, FlintHide was plagued with a constant anxiety that twisted through her, never allowing her to feel safe or stable even in the calmest conditions. She took solace in the Earth branch of the Crystalhide philosophy, finding peace the closer she got to becoming truly 'grounded'. It changed her life for the better, and in turn she decided to change her form to truly dedicate herself to the teachings of the earth. Having found her own tranquility, she travels the world hoping to help others discover their own, and her presence is a soothing balm for many.

______ She met PebbleHide on her travels, surprised to find another member of the CrystalHide Bastion that she had never met- one, it turns out, from a branch that had been separated from the Dragonhome academt a long time ago, and which had all but forgotten their origin. During her efforts to educate them on their heritage and rebuild the bridge broken so long ago, she fell in love with the quick witted spiral who always seemed able to break her out of her serious moods.
