Nobody really knows why or how Quantin decided to join this clan. He is a dragon of few words, preferring action over explanation. His most effective weapon is a sharp glare, though he is certainly decked out for battle at all times. His mate Sierre usually speaks enough for the both of them, anyway. Quantin's mostly known around the clan for his relative silence, but he is also known as being rather prideful. His stoicism is usually taken as a side-effect of the great pride he feels for himself; and so is the set of armor that he wears, even though he is never seen actually battling. The Windy warpaint he has managed to cover himself in is also indicative of the great love he has for the Windswept Plateau and the Windsinger... and himself. Most dragons tend to shy away from Quantin due to his unnerving presence, but Sierre has attempted (mostly unsuccessfully) to try and get him to socialize with the rest of the clan. On the other hand, their son Eventide is in awe of his father and tries hard to emulate him, both in appearance and mannerisms. Quantin does not speak on the matter, obviously, but it can be inferred that he's proud of his son's decision to imitate him... as well as proud of himself for being found worthy of imitation. Regarding Tempest, Quantin's recently-returned other son, he has much less to say. |
