*Upon wondering through the Viridian Labyrinth, you were surprised to see a lair that looks like it was being abandoned. Confused, you decided to ask the first dragon you could of what was going on. That dragon was a previously sleeping snapper, and a rather big one at that.* What's going on? Why, we're separating, of course. Our clan has collapsed on itself and in turn, we must journey to new places. I'm Emmanuel, friendly stranger.

*What a shame...But he doesn't seem to be dishearten by the circumstances at all. You became curious to find out.* Hmm. I guess I'm used to it? It seems that whenever I suffer, I only get stronger and more appreciated of the life I still have. As a traveler, the same applies to you, don't it? *You nodded, knowing that he has a point there about you.*

*The Snapper chuckled when you questioned if he wanted to tell you his story.* I don't see why not; It ain't an embarrassment or anything like that. I had hatched back in Dragonhome, a nest with siblings, but no parent to watch over us. I do not know why they were not there, but maybe it was best if we didn't knew what happened to them if it was a bad thing.

Lack of knowledge meant that we were not skilled at finding food at first. Whenever we got anything, I let my siblings hog the food...I couldn't stand the thought of them leaving me during that time. Eventually, I gotten too weak during the travels and they left me without a word. Then that's when the hardships payed off.

*That wasn't very nice of his siblings. It would have been one thing if he had gave them the okay. Emmanuel continued his story.* I woke up to the smell of food and meeting Kayori for the first time. She was a beauty in my darker times, letting me eat my fill for a change and getting all of the rest I had needed before I followed her to the clan she was staying with. All of that were good times. Though I'll admit that I've grown lazy and pretty gluttonous now that I don't have to worry so much about the harsher life.

*You asked if he has family, to which he nodded in reply.* Yes, I do. Kayori's been my sweetheart, but since the collapse of the clan, she and I have grown distant in our views. I see this situation as another life trial while she thinks that splitting up the clan is for the better. It appears that we might be splitting up in the end...Or until we get over this trial. While I want to protect my family and clan, it seems to always be harder than it looks.

*You offer to travel with him so he wouldn't be alone in this. He seemed to have been happy with your offer, but the answer remains in the air.*

*You had traveled with Emmanuel once he took you up on your offer to travel together. He wanted to stay in the jungle he calls home, so you were both checking with several clans that have allied with his in the past. Luck would have it that Mira the Fae had offered a place in her clan for the friendly snapper to take up. The two of you have also sat down at one of the living areas of the lair, resting your feet and bodies.* Thank you so much for helping me travel safely, friend. It hurts to leave what I had called home, but one day it might be revived.

*You nodded in agreement at the hopeful wish. The journey through the labyrinth has been a reward to you. The sights, the flora, the companion...And it all will be ending soon as you'll be traveling alone again. The snapper appears to be looking back at the trip as well.* Walking so much after so long...I will admit I was frightened that it'll be like last time. But it wasn't - your knowledge and skill actually made this trek quite a joy be partake in.

*Taking it as a compliment, you confessed that he made your journey just as enjoyable as you made his. You couldn't help but questioned if he has noticed any changes for himself; his body got a bit leaner in snapper standards, for one thing.* Now that you mention it, I think I have. I don't feel quite the same urges to be lazy as before nor the need to eat so much. I might even put my back into some good old work before I take a well-earned nap.

*After some more chatting and good night's rest, you were soon getting ready to leave the next day. But then the reminder from the scent of tea told you that you had missed the floral tea that this clan makes as a soothing refreshment. Maybe you can stay just a bit more before your next trip across the world...*
