History It is a well known fact that fires give birth to shadows. This fact is especially known to a clan of coatls who thrive in the warm hearth of the volcanic mountains of the Icewarden's domain. These coatls inherited the ability to blend into the shadows and morph them into various forms calling themselves Shadowmorphs. Though this power sounds dangerous, the clan uses their shadows more so to create tools and put on shadow productions. Innokentiy was born into this clan. Her talent with shadow morphing grew beyond any of her clanmates expectations and so did her curiosity. The Shadowmorphs were an elusive bunch who rarely interacted with the rest of the realm because why should they? The mountain and its magma provided all the dragons living there with whatever they needed and their powers helped them use the materials. As Innokentiy grew, she became curious of the outside world and left to explore and bring back tales for her fellow clanmates. Despite being so curious, her nature made it that she studied the world silently from the shadows she could control. She rarely interacted with the dragons outside her mountain and eventually became known as a rumor in the towns she passed through as a shadow that moved of its own will. Eventually, she found Maisie, her current mate while travelling. Maisie could sense her presence when Inno jumped into her shadow to travel. The two bonded over their reclusive ways and found company in each other's solidarity. Eventually, the two found our clan and decided to settle here at least for a little bit. |
