Marci

Marci was the first hatchling to be born without the Shade's taint upon her. However, this blessing came at a cost; her egg exploded when she was born with the Arcane energies infused in her, burning her mother in the process. The sheer amount of power contained in her small body warped her form and her mind. She doesn't understand basic concepts and has trouble forming relationships with others, even her family, who dote upon her.

She is treasured by the clan but often the others try to figure out why she was different, why their clutches failed but she was protected. She never understands the questions and Izzy and Ozzy protect her from them as much as she can.

Asuka started to train her very young but it is difficult to know how much she understands; things tend to explode around her no matter how much she has been trained.

The move to Water affected Marci negatively; she brims with Arcane energies and is diminished without them surrounding her. However, the number of explosions she caused has been much reduced. Back home, the explosions have returned full force.
