Life
Pale since young was always more spoiled than the rest of his clan, he often refused to follow the same belief as them, he would always be more the one to learn how to read older scripts, always pick out the tastiest food from the food stacks and so on. In his younger years he would wear fur coats and lay around in the few silken things his clan owned. As he was growing up his personality began changing, with time he was more and more displeased with his life.
Pale needing more in his life went out of his way to make life more unbearable to everyone in his clan, with time more sadistic and manipulative tendencies began showing up in his behaviors.
His life was pretty calm despite being a nuisance to anyone that wasn't a trained scholar to teach him the things that fascinated him, but after the death of the clans leader the rules changed, he couldn't live the same way he did before, the rules were strict and forced him to work and have the same belief as the clan. Pale couldn't handle it, he needed the same luxuries as the last leader let him had, but there was no hope for him to see the clan change anytime soon, so Pale at the edge of his nerves left the clan, he refused to be a part of this anymore and searched for a better life.
Of course in the beginning it was hard, he had nowhere to go and no clan seemed appropriate for him, one day he ended up in a shadow clan, where he learned tarot cards.
A big part of his life was spend in the clan, he learned to read, he learned numerous tricks and cheats to games, but in the end his odd behavior kicked in, he wasn't the nicest anymore, he ended up having massive mood swings, because of that he had to leave the shadow clan, he would shame himself with such behavior, so he left searching for another clan.
