Potion mixer and alchemist. Xak once drank her own brews regularly to determine their effects. Some of them granted her the ability to absorb knowledge and power from the air itself, others burned away pieces of her mind and skin. Over time, parts of her flesh seemed to rot and turn into a sort of mulch, from which flowers, moss, and mushrooms sprung. Since then, however, Xak's alchemical experience has tremendously grown. She was able to brew an concoction that changed her genetic makeup altogether, granting her freedom from her once agonizing physical pain. In exchange for this was her once petite Skydancer form for that of a thick Bogsneak.

While she is happy to be rid of discomfort, she worries that her appearance may drive away customers. Fortunately for her, Xak's usual cheerful demeanor has kept them returning, as well as the potency of her healing potions and natural remedies.

Once living in an oceanside cliff face cave (dug out by her mate, Gareth) in the Blacksand Annex, Xak now makes her alchemist's den within the large petrified corpse of a long-forgotten deformed beast, half-buried in a rocky hill close to the center of the clan's general territory. From the ribbed ceiling hangs drying herbs and the salted corpses of specific dead creatures selected for Xak's brews.

Xak is quite adamant about creating potions that heal, rather than harm, and one of her frequent customers is Marcou. His sanctuary of recovery is stockpiled full of Xak's brews and she is regularly producing more potent versions of potions for him. One dragon, Rache, is at odds with Xak for her refusal to create poisons and toxic potions.
