Former General

Zipher commanded an army, before he fell for her.

He met her while leading a raid against plague lands, and instantly, he was smitten. She too, loved him and they would steal away at night to be together. Exchanging sweet nothings in the darkness...pain, black more profound that the night, gone.

He awoke in chains, surrounded by darkness. He could hear her voice but it was different, no longer sweet and loving, she scorned him. "Look at you mighty God." She spat, voice full of contempt and loathing. "Cast from your high throne." She taunted, removing the blindfold from his eyes, and peering into their fiery depths, she laughed. "Look at those beautiful eyes."

His eyes snapped open as he returned from unconsciousness, straining against his bindings. I can't see! He panicked, just for a moment, and after realizing that his right eye was fine, gazed at his surroundings. Ashfall Wastes. He hated it, the stifling heat and choking air. "Ah. I though you would just love this place." She grinned wickedly, the oversized, and now blood soaked claw on her foot tapping against the ground. "You know, I always loved the Molten Scar, the burning rock, the blazing heat, the screams of dragons who wander to close to the flame." She laughed. "Your screams" "You're insane!" He exclaimed, shocked, but once again she just laughed. "Maybe, maybe not."

He heard a loud thump at his blind side, struggling against his chains but unable to free himself. He heard the roar of a furious Tundra, the battle, then he saw her, fleeing, cursing over her shoulder. The newcomers broke his chains, and helped his battered body stand, another Tundra stood at his side to support him, while a Snapper lady searched the surroundings. "Good we found you when we did isn't it?" The Tundra said, her body grey in color and wings a pale dark blue. "Don't mind my superior." She continued, giving him an amused snort. "She doesn't like to talk much. Neither do I for that matter, I've always liked actions better than words." "Agreed."

The two Tundras and the Snapper escorted him to their lair for him to recover. He would stay here for now.
