Flighted

Flighted hates almost everything, from the color of his skin to his siblings to the flight of his birth. All this bitterness has lurked inside him since his hatching —maybe even before that, when he was still coiled up in his egg.
Both his siblings were Spirals. Spirals! He couldn't believe it. Flighted took rarity to heart; he loathed being just a common Fae like his father. He should be a Wildclaw or a Coatl or even just have a single gene. Being the smallest plentiful with older common siblings was like a laugh in the face.
His mother left.
He hated his father.
Flighted had nothing binding him to this clan he'd been born into. He fled, true to his name, and eventually found a place in the Viridian Labyrinth.
He's still full of vicious hatred, and maybe it'll increase exponentially when he realizes that this new home was once that of his father's, but for now he's staying where he is.
