Pastelle's Courier

Magnolia is a high-powered and somewhat hostile dragon who is fiercely protective of his mate Clematis. He is quite the opposite of his gentle and weak-willed mate and will manipulate or fight off other dragons from Clematis if he feels they intend to do Clematis harm. Although aggressive and occasionally cruel, Magnolia is gentle and calm with butterflies, birds, and other such small fluttering creatures. This kind and tender side might have been what drew Clematis to Magnolia in the first place, although Magnolia was definitely the one who took initiative and flew over and spoke to Clematis first. Clematis loves how driven Magnolia is, which is funny as it makes him almost a direct foil to the somewhat lazy and easy-going Clematis. He is also the courier for Pastelle and helps direct trades, crossroads, and just generally moving items from area to area in the clan of Pastelle. He can often be found flitting back and forth from place to place alongside his favorite dove, or coiled up in a tree next to Clematis and his dove. Magnolia appears to have a sort of "grumpy-resting face" which can deter other dragons from wanting to get closer to him. However, this did not stop Clematis from wanting to and eventually becoming closer to him.
