Light-Bringer
The Candle Keeper


Embry has never feared the dark. Even as a small hatchling, hidden away in his parents' cave, he did not mind when night fell. In fact, he looked forward to seeing the stars. His parents often chastised him for leaving the cave and venturing out to view the night sky. It was dangerous, of course, but worth every moment.

His family comes from a long line of beekeepers. Although they traditionally used these bees for honey, Embry had something else in mind. When he took over the family's hives, he began to harvest not only the honey, but the wax from the combs as well.

Now, he makes candles. The sweet scent and gentle light of them guides even the most lost traveler through the darkness to safety.
