Leaflet's charge is his brother, Jerrod. When he was separated from him, Leaflet felt a terrible emptiness and set out to find him despite being a hatchling. Unbeknownst to Leaflet his brother was safe and was also searching for him. Xenti found him and reunited him with Jerrod. Now as an adult he helps Jerrod brighten the days of others and protects him from harm in Jerrod's quest to bring happiness to everyone in Sornieth, even in the more dangerous parts. Leaflet is a lot less optimistic then his brother and sometimes he wishes that his brother would stop trying to help everyone else and care about himself for once but at the same time he enjoys seeing Jerrod without a care in the world and having no knowledge of creatures in the shadows trying to harm him, only of Leaflet, his dear brother, guarding him with all his being and never telling him how difficult it is to protect him.

Leaflet was the name bestowed upon him when he was captured and almost forcibly sent in service of the Gladekeeper and though his name carries memory of fear it also carries hope and forgiveness of the dragons of Nature.
