Valentine is the oldest dragoness of the Whitewing clan, older than the clan itself. She was born in a faraway land, in a big and wealthy clan of mighty warriors. Not very strong and beautiful, she nevertheless were healthy enough to give birth to strong and tough fighters. But years passed, she was not able to bring as much children as she used to, and thus she started to feel her uselessness. Sad and empty, she left to find her death.
And she doubtless would find it if she have not met Glacierrah and her battle comrade Tigerwraith training young dragons in the mad laboratories of the Workshop. They've took the wounded dragoness with them, and brought her in the lair. This made her even more sad. She thought she is not worthy of being alive, and not worthy of their kind care she had.
But no one is useless in the Whitewing cave, and soon she found herself helping with hatchlings and young dragons. Her huge experience with her own children were very needed here, for surviving in this harsh environment took parents too much time. Valentine also tried to fight herself what she has never done before, and happiness, physical activity, good food and no need in continuous egg laying made a miracle with her - her skin gained visible spots and her wings began to shine.
The old dragoness became more young and beautiful than ever before.
