Easter was full of hope. That was what anyone would be told if asked about the brightly colored dragon. She was the eternal optimist, with a grin that shone as bright as the grin she always wore. If a dragon needed to be cheered up, Easter was the best one to do so, always able to put a positive spin on any situation.

She was a peaceful dragon preferring to use her words to solve problems and diffuse situations, despite how sharp her claws were and the way that magic flowed easily from her. Her talent with combat wasn't a secret but Easter didn't like it spread around at the very least. Her ever present grin seemed to falter the slightest bit whenever it was brought up, and the other dragons of the clan quickly learned to avoid the subject.

Her past in the ice flight was not a joyful one, full of pain and struggles to just get strong enough to survive. Her old clan was not a friendly one, always scorning her bright outlook on life. They pushed her to fight, even when she didn't want to because that was the only way to survive on the harsh, cold plains. But even then she hoped for a better life.

So she escaped, running to the warmth and welcome arms of the Windsinger's children. She changed her name in honor of that rebirth, and continues to hope. Because she knows, that in the end, hope will win out.
