Biography
Lightning is a concentrated energy source which must be bottled at the moment it strikes. It is coveted among dragonkind for powering mechanical automatons, but few dragons are skilled enough to collect and harness its power.
Those that dare fly into the heart of electrically charged clouds are known as Tempest Chasers. Admired for their bravery – and, some may argue, for their insanity – those dragons welcome angry skies. They travel great distances seeking out storms, and make use of mysterious devices resembling scroll cases to collect the lightning.
No dragon outside of the Tempest Chasers knows the secret to bottling lightning, and the secret is well kept. Only those with experience should attempt to tame the tempest, and it is a source of great pride to be acknowledged as a Chaser. Lexxus learned the trade from her father, and her glowing cases of lightning are a valuable addition to the clan hoard.
