Ciara was born in the wild reaches of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Ciara had personally never liked water. She felt as if the water were closing around her, crushing her, keeping her trapped in their cold embrace. A bad encounter with a Blueband Duelist only reinforced the feeling. As son as she was old enough, Ciara left the Sea as fast as she could. Her parents, only distant figures in her childhood memories, let her go without an argument. Ciara knew that she looked exactly like her grandmother, and though she had never seen her before, she had vivid dreams. White always appeared as impressive, yet kindly figure in her dreams. Ciara, who was never close to anyone, especially with her family, wasn't used to socializing. Her grandmother told her that Wildclaws were dragons impressed by strength and bravery. Ciara had been a skittish, skinny runt. Her grandmother taught her to connect with her inner soul to make magic. A mage's destiny had been carved out for her, and Ciara was determined to embrace it. Ciara grew into a strong female who forgot about her lonely past and could care for herself. One problem remained, though. She had no home. Ciara had long since lost the dreams of her grandmother's guidance and had drifted to the art of stealing. Food, accessories, trinkets, anything could slip into the black dragon's claws. She was known in some parts as the Shadow Bandit, earning it through the ability of hiding at night depite her white wings. Finally, Ciara was caught in the act by a Wildclaw with the name Quick. Quick was a witty dragon very used to tricks. Ciara acted coldly to her at first, not being used to friends, but when Quick offered a chance for a home, she quickly accepted. Ciara found that the gusty winds and cool airs of the Windswept Plateau were perfect for her. Unlike the water domain, she felt free and light to do anything she pleased. Ciara started to steal a little less, but her love to prank grew, much like Quick and her brother, Skystrike. Her canny thoughts could outwit any plan. Her sly and slick ways even attracted Skystrike. Quick immediately noticed this, and decided they'd be perfect for each other. Ciara, now horse-playing her way across the world, alongside her mate, sister Wildclaw, and her friend BlueShadow, lives a successful, merry life. Skink?? |
