Though the flight is long, Imriel is a constant diplomat between The Aquariids Clan. Growing up for a time in that clan with his adopted clutch mate Daena, he knew a thing or two about the dragons that lived there much before he did. They were his caretakers before he found his way to his current clan.
However, he failed to notice the beauty that resided in that clan known as Glory.

He kept his distance from her, but nearly every time she would come around he could feel his scales tighten and feathers puff up. She was just so.. elegant, and graceful. Sure, he had seen his fair share of skydancers that were vibrant and beautiful, but.. something about Glory was so quiet and yet she could scare someone into submission at the same time with the intense glare of her dazzling amethyst eyes.

Along with Glory, Imriel also shares a very tight bond with his earliest clan mates, Daena and Arthfael. Even at a young age, he and Arthfael competed for dominance over each other, but third-party Daena decided that they were both fit to be equal as either one has talents and weaknesses the other does not.

Though that never stops them from indulging in a friendly competition for who can catch the fattest bugs or pick the best flowers. They'll never admit it, but they're best friends.
