Вайтор явился в клан одним из первых, в те времена он еще имел облик Гвардейца и только учился сражаться как воин. Увы, в его время некому было обучать - клан был мягко говоря лишь сбродом, кое-как организующим свои дела. Гвардеец работал на два фронта - добывал мясо и сражался за тот малый кусок земли, который был у клана. Шло время, и молодой солдат обзавёлся боевыми товарищами - Конфетти и Эш. Две имперки пришли в клан вместе, как лучшие подруги. Первая в бою казалась Вайтору полезнее последней. Но Эш - это главная мораль команды, невероятно огромное количество раз она поддерживала раненных товарищей на своём крыле возвращаясь домой. Под предводительством чёрно-белого Фаэ клан процветал, однако править ему было суждено не долго. Налётчики-гарпии уничтожили, как они считали "голову змеи" и скрылись в ночи. Гвардеец, чья обязанность и призвание к защите правителя были разрушены, не смог выдержать позора своего рода. Гвардеец, не сумевший защитить призвание - это лишь половина дракона. И как бы не старалась Эш спасти друга от горя, Вайтор настаивал на мести. С утра до ночи искали они тех гарпий, и разыскали. Что стало с их телами - всем и так очевидно. Говорят, что Вайтор хранит их маски в своей пещере. Успокоив свой гнев и признав потерю призвания - уже прилично выросший как личность дракон обратился к чародеям и алхимикам с просьбой лишить его облика Гвардейца.
