Once upon a time, there was a small group of Coatls that all functioned separately from the group- essentially, they were a clan all to themselves, but hey had no name to speak of. Sage acted as their ambassador to the rest of the Seekers, and everything was fairly calm. Though, it started slowly at first. All of his clanmates left, eventually seeking out deitys to serve for a time.

But, before she left, Lace had promised him that she would return, and together they could make their clan an official one, separate from the Seekers. So, Sage remains among Rainwing's rumbers, along with several new followers, for now. Until the day she returns from the Plaguebringer's side. He does pass time with Jade, though they both recognize that they have different paths to follow, and their relationship is more of a physical one than a romantic one.
