Aubergine

As far as most of the clan knows, Aubergine just showed up in the circus one day. An eager fae with a wide smile and penchant for cracking jokes, who insisted he be given the job of the group's cook. The circus, who by now had had it with eating food raw, were delighted to finally be getting proper meals. That was, however, until they saw the food...

Rotten berries leaking with foul smelling juices for a starter, Tentacles still faintly twitching and squirming with life for a main course. That cube of fluorescent goo no one can quite identify? Why, that's dessert! Aubergine insists his food is "gourmet", "what all the rich clans are eating nowadays" but these claims do little to mask the taste. It cannot be said he doesn't mean well, but his meals are... an acquired taste for sure.

Little known to anyone but his closest friend, Kyuu, Aubergine's sudden appearance wasn't quite so unexplained. Just a month earlier, a small mirror dragon had wandered into clan territory, in need of a drastic change in appearance to escape his criminal past and having heard of a witch out in the marshlands who could give him just that. All that is left from before the procedure are a pair of small, secondary eyes on his cheeks. Luckily he can pass them off as cheek markings as long as he keeps them closed at all times, and he seems to have gotten away with it thus far.
