This Imperial dragon is one of the clan's warriors. He's strict, proud and isn't open to change or ideas that contradict his beliefs. He can be harsh, even when he doesn't mean to be. However, his loyalty is strong enough to move mountains. Due to his habit to being pointlessly stubbornly , he can be often misunderstood as overbearing to some dragons. Nonetheless, he's hardly been know to be cruel, other than nitpicking at the smallest details.

However he wasn't always like this, when he was younger he was actually apart of the playful 'adventuring parties' organized by Vi. Although he was one of the more cautious ones in the bunch, that didn't stop him from having fun; or getting caught up in all crazy sorts of mischief
and mayhem. One time, a couple of fledglings and himself, dared someone to eat a stink-bug, another time they were looking for Sakura owls, and another time...

Sadly, life cannot remain that way. As he got older, he gained more responsibilities. Like many fledglings and hatchlings there was a time to grow up. In Aconitum's case, he was put in training to be a soldier. This training hardened him, but not in a truly bad way. He and his fellows were taught honour, fighting tactics and the essence of bravery. In truth, it almost made him a better person. Except that it gave him a need for perfection, making him quite strict and rather old-fashioned. Luckily, he still hasn't grown out for his fondness for acorns! Which he started collecting during his training.

What ever the case, now that his training's done, his family has arranged him to be in a marriage. He was soon to be mated with the dragon who led his youth, Vi. At that moment, it shocked Aconitum. Vi had never actually seemed to lose her childish energy. Always bubbling with thoughts of new discoveries and exploration! As he thought more about the marriage, small feelings began to develop. However his stubborn and proud nature stopped him from speaking about it to anyone.

But there is always hope for the innocent.

And she is none the wiser for the way dragons look at her, like she's a ray of sunlight in a gathering thunderstorm, like she is joy incarnate, bringing happiness to those who have the pleasure of meeting her.



There is a reason why he is so unfailing in his patrols and his checks.

He can't risk a failure, can't afford to slip up.

The clan itself depends on him. It doesn't matter if it is only a small clan, a growing one, because it is still full of life.

There are dragons depending on him.

And he will not fail them.
