All Spirals enjoy digging tunnels in rock and wood, but Orebiter is one of the few who has embraced the art of digging with a passion. Her tunnels are known for their artful excavation and construction, and younger Spirals in the lair are asked to restrict their own tunnelling to small branches off of her main routes, so as not to undermine the foundation of the lair. Ore has an excellent sense of direction, but a very poor sense of time. She always has a clear mental map of where she is in relation to her lair and other major landmarks even when she's miles below the surface, and never gets lost in her own tunnels, but she can easily lose track of how long she's been at work. She does her best work at night, which can make her a bit of a nuisance in a lair of diurnal dragons, but she's usually good at remembering to stick to smaller projects when the rest of the lair is trying to sleep. (If she's in the middle of a big project, she might need a gentle reminder to take a break for a few hours!) Her attention to detail makes her a good leader for scavenging teams, and she has a knack for unearthing rare treasures and chests when she's sent out with a digging party. It's not wise to let her lead a digging party, though - she needs someone there to remind her to stop digging once the rest of the team is done!

Ore is an open, sociable dragon who has a lot of casual friends, but very few close friends. This is mostly due to her work; she's yet to meet a dragon who shares her passion for digging, and it's difficult to build close friendships or find a mate when you spend most of your time deep underground, alone. She's not really bothered by the lack of intimacy in her relationships, though; she loves her work, and in her free time she's happy just relaxing and socializing with anyone nearby.

Ore doesn't often fight in the Coliseum, but when she does she's a surprisingly tough opponent, with a swift and relentless fighting style. She's not exceptionally strong, but the long hours she has spent tunnelling through solid rock have made her extremely tough, and have given her amazing stamina. She may not hit hard, but she can take a blow from an opponent twice her size without blinking, and she's impossible to wear down. She's also a very cunning fighter, and it's very difficult for another dragon to outwit or confuse her. Those that do earn her respect; she's made quite a few friends throughout Sornieth through rated matches.
