Njord is a very energetic and sweet dragon, and always willing to lend a talon to others in the clan. But when he is battling, beware: he becomes ruthless and very cunning toward his opponents. It makes monsters wish they'd never crossed his path. After a battle, most dragons stay away until he calms down: after that he is right back to being his sweet energetic self!
As Protector of the Young, Njord works with Dinnye to prepare hatchlings for adulthood, and guards the nesting grounds in conjunction with the expecting parents.

One day a chance encounter let him find love with a dragon named Polpo, and they had 5 sweet children together. But a terrible storm claimed Polpo's life, and Njord blamed himself for becoming distracted from his duties. Distraught, four of their five children took Wind-like names and pledged themselves to serve the Windsinger: Breeze, Gale, Zephyr, and Tempest. Their youngest, Fracture chose a different path of healing others with crystals and magic.
