Self absorbed and manipulative, but has a kind heart none the less. Vernia took her into the clan due to her potential as a breeder and to save her from the auctionhouse cycle, not based on her personality, which Petai resents. Nonetheless, she understands and is content to repay this kindness by breeding and giving up her offspring to sell in order to keep up the profits of the clan. She sees herself as a high bred Imperial, and treats her clanmates with slight contempt, but she never gets arrogant.
