While, once, her Kingdom doubted if she was capable of leading them anywhere but an early grave, now the people of the Lightweaver’s Rest regard her as the chosen of the Gods.

There is a budding belief that Queen Trixxie has formed an alliance with the Golden Guild that have long been controversial citizens of the Lightweaver’s Rest.

The youngest active ruler in all the land, many look upon Her Radiance’s reign with doubt and trepidation. They are a child, afterall, and surely the only place they could lead their people is down. Despite this belief by outsiders, under her rule the Lightweaver’s Rest has remained prosperous. Leader of an important Kingdom at the feet of the Lightweaver’s throne, and part of the council of Crowns, it is undeniable that Trixxie holds surprising sway in the lands for one so young. Her Radiance’s current goals are unknown, but an increase in devoutism towards their favored God is notable in Lightweaver’s Rest.

▸Gratitude: Loyalty personified, with honor and guile befitting his stature. Navigating life without him is unimaginable.

▸Nimue: Daughter of a noble, daughter of a wealthy merchant family, she is grace.

▸Aurum: Devout, though with strange rituals, a man of pride and reverence.

▸Blessed: Not unlike themself, believed to be touched by the Gods. Aloof, mystical, his power is undeniable.

Thoughts:

▸Mahira: Blunt and brutal, she will do anything to keep and secure her power.

▸Niowo: Beautiful, mesmerizing, and curious, a new face on the scene.

▸Ostil: Patronizing, he is a man who is too smug for his own good. Too powerful, however, to ignore.

▸Una: The Rightful heir to the old Halfling empire, if the empire hadn’t forgotten that system and left her as a mere noble instead.

Biography

The only child to two, beloved, Kings of Lightweaver’s Rest, the people celebrated on the day they were born and every birthday was marked by parades by the people in honor of the ruling family. Trixxie’s life was, since the beginning, one of both excess and rigor. Tutoring started young, and classes lasted most of the day, taught only by experts on the topics that they needed to be taught. No expense was spared when it came to preparing Trixxie to be the best, possible, heir that the Kingdom could produce. And, to offset the many hours kept indoors, learning, her parents lavished her with expensive gifts to keep her engaged in her studies. The better the teachers said they did in class, the more her fathers would spoil her.

It was on one such occasion, where their teachers had been singing their praises as usual, that her parents told her that she would be receiving a dedicated guard of her own. This was when they brought a strange, young boy before them and introduced him as her ‘shield’. That he was sworn to her protection, no matter what, he said his name was ‘Gratitude’. At first, Trixxie didn’t believe that he could truly have any desire to help her, other kids didn’t seem to like them very much, so she had no interest in making conversation with the boy who had been tasked to follow them. It wasn’t until Gratitude stood up for her, shoving away Avid, and seemed to feel no remorse for standing up to an heir that Trixxie changed their mind about the slightly younger dragon. He had been willing to protect her from even another Royal, something he did not apologize for, so perhaps he really could be trusted to have her back… no matter what.

This belief would be put to the test only a year later, Gratitude rushing into her chambers to wake her early for an ‘emergency meeting with His Radience’s council’. Already, Trixxie felt dread, the council should want nothing to do with them under normal circumstances. Their fears were proven right when her fathers’ advisors explained that their parents had both been killed in the night. Assassins… probably sent by one of the advisors themselves. It was no shock when they tried to talk her into relinquishing control, they were eager to grab power for themselves, and though she was afraid of what was to come they refused the ‘offer’. She would not hand over the reigns of her fathers’ kingdom to usurpers so easily.

Personality

Young as they may be, most would agree that Her Radiance is an intelligent young dragon in her own right. Wise, careful with their words in public and in court, and with a keenly perceptive eye to the wiles of the court, Trixxie has side-stepped many an attempt to entrap her. Their curious nature, and desire to learn, has served them well over their time as a ruler as she often seems to know more than she lets on. Truly, Her Radiance is a scholar.

Her Radiance being so intelligent may lead others to believe that she would also be aloof, calm, cool, but this could not be further from the case. Holding fast to the energy of their youth, and with an extremely charming manner of speech, Trixxie does more with her knowledge than just hoard it. Eager to share, and eager to put what they know into real-world application, this is a youth who plays the court games well and seems to have fun while doing it. Her youth allows them to be a different kind of charismatic than the older rulers, something Her Radiance seems keenly aware of.

Personality

Despite all of her wisdom, her teaching, they are still a child and they still have childish qualities. Her Radiance may be able to recite Godly poetry by memory, but they also have a very obvious quirk of playing favorites. A good example being that they named Gratitude a full Knight, and provided him a small section of land, not because Gratitude was a fully trained squire but because he was her closest friend. This willingness to pick and choose based off of who she likes the most, rather than who is most deserving, has caused a not insignificant amount of friction between them and the advisors.

Devout, godly, pious, are all words that could be used to describe Trixxie. It is clear to their people that Her Radiance puts faith in the Lightweaver above all else, a choice that, thankfully, hasn’t seemed to backfire on her people yet. It is also true that Trixxie genuinely believes that she was chosen by the Lightweaver to lead the Lightweaver’s Rest and that, if she does a good enough job, they seem to believe that the Lightweaver will show her favor by returning to her empty throne.
