Miralla doesn't really know what happened. One moment she was spying for her former clan, and the next she was barely awake on the ground, unable to feel or move her left arm due to the pain that radiated out from a new scar on it. The scar was glowing green, and had cursed her with some sort of terminal illness, that, while it could be stalled, could not be stopped unless her arm was amputated, as the magic within it was slowly spreading through her body and killing her. Thankfully, she met Solas soon after she realized that and with some magical aid, they were able to successfully contain it to just her arm and if the time came where it began to spread again, it left her able to amputate her arm. Come two years later, that just so happened to be the case. Of course, by this time, Miralla was on some not-so-friendly ground with Solas, given that he had broken up with her for seemingly no reason and on top of that, was planning to try to effectively hit a magical reset button for the entire world. Given that she was one of the people who lived in it, she obviously did not want this to happen. She eventually convinced him to let the past go, and they settled down in an out of the way clan to research the magic that had affected her arm. |
