Matriarch | Outer Clan

To almost all of the inner clan and many young faces of the outer clan, Balefire is a myth. They know that she exists, but they so very rarely see her that her existence has all but slipped into the realm of fairytales. And what queen of the wayward wanderers would make herself easy to find? But Balefire is very much real, and her silence and speed make her seem almost omnipresent; speak her name, wait a few moments, and you'll certainly feel like you're being watched. When Vagabond returns after a long stretch of time, there seem to be two dusky Wildclaws walking towards the Ashfall. Blink, and there's only one.

The select few who have met Balefire must feel like they know even less about her. She is silent and speaks little, but there is a patient kindness in her silent eyes. Even the fierce love she has for Vagabond is almost always shown as a quiet respect. Only a fool would decide not to head her rarely spoken words.
