[ OZORA ] ♪ ♫ • Shimmering Seer • Restless • Lonely • Confused
I made it happen didn't I?.
Once bubbly and happy, Ozora is now a recluse. The former seer of clan Ofira could practically be seen dancing through the streets, predicting small fortunes and seeing strange visions. Not many were worried, after all, she had a bodyguard and friend, Ciestian, by her side. She had his watchful eye, and he had her little protection charms. Throughout the months, Ozora had started to get many more visions, and hummed words in her sleep even she didn't remember. Hardly anyone knew about this, Ciestian only knew after checking in on her during his nightly rounds. And with the clan devoid of other seers and prophets, a word of Flowering's unease was all that was needed to send Ozora to a far corner of the island, with plans to be checked up on daily. No one knew what to fear, just knew to fear it. Once she had begun to utter the curse, it was almost too late, the unlucky dragon that was on duty to check on her dropped unbreathing to the ground by 30 meters, others coming close to see what was happening, the sleeping Ozora muttering words of poison in her sleep. With every passing minute the strength of the spell was increasing, widening the circumference in which its power took effect, with clueless Ozora hypnotized in the center. Few actually steeled themselves to confront the sleeping dragon, a council of the wisest dragons assembled in panic to determine how to get close enough to wake her. Hit her with a spell? She might not survive that harsh awakening. Cast a barrier around her? No one knew what type of magic she was using, it may not work. Eventually Ciestian, her closest friend, ventured forward to the sleeping dragon. He first felt utterly sick, then weak, like the blood was draining from his body, next he felt the dread, he could feel ice in his extremities and his vision faded. He got closer and closer, slowing down as he neared the epicenter of the curse, his sleeping friend, who's charms were all that kept him alive, though hardly coherent. When he reached her side, he collapsed, crawling to her body, before lifting shaking, limp hand, and touching her own that rested on her stomach. At once, she awoke, to the sight of her best friend slumped over her, dead. |
