The Silence
There was a burst of dark light, a crack in the very fabric of existence, and Erebus stepped out, born anew. He surveyed the dragon below him, whose eyes flared with a flame of defiance. He stared at them, unblinking, his icy gaze boring into them. And yet, they did not drop their gaze. Had they no clue as to what they had summoned?

Erebus is the eldest child of Chaos itself. Born of darkness inspired by the Shade, he knows of nothing but death. Summoned by mistake by Lust, he cannot return to the depths of Chaos, so he remains trapped within AspyreClan, eternally. He can not, or rather does not, speak. Instead, he communicates through minds. He can easily inflict the sensation of pain in the minds of the dragons he is communicating with.

He lives in a large cavernous cave near the clan. Inside are glowing patches of blue crystal and sporadically placed floating orbs of sapphire flame. There is nothing living but himself and his familiar in his cave, for everything he touches immediately withers and dies, shriveling into a wrinkled husk of its former self. Sleet has asked him to stay there as much as possible, for she wants to avoid at all cost the accidental deaths of clan members. And he does stay in his cave, but not because she told him to. Never that. Rather, there is nothing for him outside, so why leave? Even the sun itself weakens him. No, the cave is home, and always will be.

Perhaps it is more of a prison.
