Personality
A natural leader, Hedwig easily commands respect in those around her and controls those who would otherwise be less inclined to follow someone in authority. Her military background has given her many skills in sword and magical combat and has, on occasion, needed to wield those abilities on delivery jobs and sometimes her underlings. She is a brave and smart individual who is slow to judge but quick to mete out justice in necessary situations. Although she is not ignorant of dragon natural, Hedwig tends to have faith in those around her believing there is always something good left inside them when all else fails.

History
Hedwig was born on the Plateau to a good family in a large clan. She grew to be a brilliant flyer with the speed and quickness her breed so often displays in the skies. When she was old enough she signed up for the local military and trained along side other flyers who would later serve in her air squadron.

The path of Exaltation to the Wingsinger would have provided Hedwing with more military opportunities as she would have been acting directly under the Wind god's commands but it wasn't a life she could leave behind later if she ever developed other interests. The local military held plenty of adventure and she fought in many battles at the Plateau's borders. Her life was exciting and dangerous but she knew she would eventually lay her sword down in favor of something new.

Even though she thrived in the ranks of the air force, there were always tough calls to be made in battle and many of those choices weighed heavily on her. So after her service was up, Hedwig decided against reenlisting and struck out to find a clan of her own. When she arrived at the Clan of the Twisting Lights, she founded the "Twisting Lights Owl Post and Delivery Service" and hired the best employees she could find to help her take on delivery jobs in far off places.
