ETYMOLOGY.
Masculine. Acheron was known as the "river of woe", and was one of the five rivers of the Greek underworld. In the Homeric poems the Acheron was described as a river of Hades, into which Cocytus and Phlegethon both flowed.

ABOUT.
Acheron, at first glance, is relatively unassuming. He is average height and weight for a Mirror dragon with a few outstanding scars along his flank, but upon closer inspection, his teeth are more than needle sharp and his claws can tear through dragonhide like they are butter.

He is mostly independent of the clan, but he sticks around mostly for food and "guarding" the clan. He really only arises when there is blood to be spilled and makes quick work of his enemies and promptly takes a nap. He is quick and brutal which led him to fight in the Coliseum.

As he has no allegiances to any dragon but himself, he tends to stay in solitude. He fights and sleeps where he wants, when he wants, with no one able to stop him. However, he does have a soft spot for hatchlings and usually teaches them small defensive moves.

TRIVIA.
• I actually named him after Acheron from the book series by Sherrilyn Kenyon.
• I could never quite decide on a mate for him in all the time I had him.
• He was originally a spiral dragon.
