Bella

Beautiful, alluring, spooky, scary... These can all be used to describe the creature called Belladonna, or Bella for short. Once a Skydancer that had lost her way in the shadowed woods, she has changed into something... Else. A specter of sorts, she stalks her prey, practically blending in to the shadowy forest. She was trapped by the mystics in the Midnight Carnival when she took one of their own as prey. Now she is a display piece of the carnival, stalking visitors as far as her mystic chains will allow, but never able to go completely ethereal. There is a sign on either side of her stalking area that warns of potential dangers. Those who do not heed these warnings often disappear without a trace, no matter their size. Many hatchlings dare each other to see how close they can get before she attempts to snatch them away. Quite a few often don't return. No one knows for sure what she does with her victims, but it always sounds like the worst bit of torture before suddenly being cut off.

It is said that Bella is one of The Manager's favorite pieces to the carnival, and while some would like to argue that, they really don't like facing the Belladonna alone. When the carnival is traveling to their new location, often times the only way to get Bella into her cage, is to lure her in with live bait. Her cage is the last to be loaded as no one wants to go near it while screams can still be heard.
