Onsiphoros

Onsiphoros was born with a strange ability – something that developed in his body when he was still developing inside an egg. He possesses the ability to breathe toxic fumes from a gland that developed in his throat, close to where his salivary glands are located. He can produce toxins in both a gaseous state, which he can expel at will, and in a liquid state, which he can spit out, similar to how a snake would spit venom at an attacker. His toxic gas has anesthetic properties, depriving a target of oxygen and effectively knocking a target unconscious for a period of time relative to the target's body mass. His venomous saliva possesses a corrosive property, which can inflict permanent damage to a target. It corrodes and burns flesh, though its effects can be cut short by rinsing the affected area with water. Other ailments exist, though most are unknown due to the convenience and ease of finding fresh water.
