From there, everything starts changing. When Hiyori causes a phantom to pursue the two of them, he claims a new Shinki, whom he names Yukine. Despite the harmful blight from his sarcastic weapon, the formerly looming threat of Bishamonten's revenge, and Father's attempts at secluding and forcing him into his old shoes, he manages to keep on going with the helps of the new and the old acquaintances. History:
Yato is a god born from a person's wishes, this person often referred to as "Father." He was born as a God of Calamity/Depravity, someone that could only steal and not give. Hundreds of years ago, he used Nora, a stray weapon to grant even the vilest of wishes, slaying humans, gods, and ayakashi alike. However, another Shinki changed his ideals, making him more optimistic and reluctant to kill those besides the ayakashi.
