Originally mated to Aurea, Tide was head over heels for his first mate, but they always clashed, they never shared the same interests, he really only liked Aurea because of her looks. When Aurea came to her senses and saw why Tide really liked her she was very upset. She didn't want any company, she would hardly eat, since she was the head huntress, she realized she was having a negative impact on the clan, and immediately put a stop to it, her and Tide had separated, Aurea had vowed to never fall in love again, and Tide met a new female dragon, one whom he had loved for who she was.
