Amadeo is a peaceful and calm dragon with surprising amounts of patience who never seems to get angry at all. He is friendly to and patient with everyone and loves cuddling and Cara (his mate). Amadeo always seems to be able to find the good in everyone, even in those dragons and beasts who appear unlikable to most. He is a gifted diplomat, who is great at resolving conflicts between clan members or between our clan and other clans (Brygid always likes to take him along to negotiations, especially those with clan leaders she finds irksome).
Amadeo also gets along well with hatchlings of any kind and, due to his temperament, often finds himself the clan's appointed babysitter (which he doesn't mind at all).
Aside from cuddling and cuddle piles, Amadeo likes roses (especially the pink ones), and he also likes tasty food. He spends a lot of his free time cooking and baking and experimenting with various ingredients. The results of his experiments tend to be absolutely delicious - at least if they don't explode. Amadeo brought many of his recipes with him from his Arcane home, and since the first explosion, many dragons in our clan are convinced that the Arcanist had a hand in cooking up said recipes. Most dragons find that getting to devour Amadeo's tasty meals is more than worth a few singed scales and a bit of singed fur here and there, though.
Amadeo's butter caiman familiar is an enthusiastic helper in his cooking adventures (which can clearly be seen in the size of his belly) and will cheerfully sample everything, even if he has to cough up a bit of smoke afterwards or ends up getting stuck in cake dough. Amadeo's cooking has also attracted a by now rather corpulent (or fluffy, as Amadeo calls it) bird who has since taken up residence in and around Amadeo and Cara's tree cave and likes riding along on Amadeo's shoulder when he bustles about preparing his meals.
