I was pacing my enchantment room when Karamelli walked by, I heard her approach but did not respond as I was caught up in my work. “Blast it! I’ve done this a million times now, why is it not working this time?!” I slammed my clenched dragon fists on the table in front of me, startling Karamelli and causing her to jump. “I– I’ll come back another time” she said with a trembling voice, the new surrounding has had her on edge, even with one of her closest allies. “No no! It’s quite alright, I’m just working on an elixir for Trinkas cold, it’s just not…” I let out a deep sigh. “The herbs in this region aren’t strong enough to make a decent healing tincture” I said placing my head on the table, clearly overworked. I’m the only potions dragon to enter the lair, so ever since I came here with Jabuka and Karamelli I’ve been working 24/7 making elixirs for the dragons. Sure, Selentura is a healer and now they have Jabuka, but when they’re too weak to heal, they rely on me. I’ve been training Karamelli since before we came here, but she’s still much too new to this to be of any help. I feel bad sometimes, she comes to me each day for lessons and I just don’t have the time anymore
