Wormwood

As a young dragon Wormwood did not take to the caves and crags of his siblings. He was often found in the sturdy branches of trees and was liable to leap from above on any unwary enough to come too close to his perch. When he grew older it was no surprise to his kin that he headed not to the mountains or valleys but instead to the swampy marshes of Driftwood Drag. Bright green among the murk, his grey wings helped him blend in with the moss and fallen timber.

One day while foraging he came across a vision of beauty. Lithe and slender with skin and wings as shadow come to life a dark huntress stalked among the swamps. Smitten Wormwood moved from the trees and bowed for a moment of her time. Noctis was her name and he wished to be where she was. With a considering tilt of her head she stated "I will allow it."
