Hawkclaw Done

Idea: Hawkclaw fell in love with Sunspot. However when he began to get antagonistic with Silvereye, Hawkclaw's closest friend, he became paranoid she would turn on him. The rift between them escalated to threats, and Hawkclaw began hiding from her once loving mate.

Hawkeye was the oldest of her siblings. As a result she was always making sure her younger brother didn't sneak out, or that her little sister behaved properly while their mother and father where away. As her siblings grew and went to forge their own lives, Hawkeye found that she did not want to leave the safety of the forest she called home. She loved the sound of the wind though the branches, and the smell of the damp earth, but most of all she loved the cover of the shadows. It concealed her from all who would harm her, and allowed her to pounce on her prey without effort. As she entered adulthood, Hawkeye found that while she loved her hiding spots, she also found comfort in few individuals within her clan. Silvereye was the first. Although the next leader was older than her, it was not by much. Both trained, and hunted together in their free time. However it was the next dragon that would change Hawkeye's life. Though Silvereye she met Sunspot, the dragon who stole her heart. He was charming, charismatic, and quick to rush to Hawkeye's aid. It was only a matter of time before she fell for the dragon.

Their happiness, however, was short lived. It was just after the fall of the first Shadowwing that Hawkeye began to see a change in the dragon she loved. The antagonism that formed between him and Silvereye was on display for everyone to see, but everything else was more subtle. Hawkeye often heard him talking to himself when he though he was alone. Other times he would just snap at either her or one of the hatchlings. What scared her most was when he fell silent. It could go on for days at a time, and she knew when he finally did speak, may Shadowbinder have mercy on the dragon who convinced him to.
