From a young age Wendel was encouraged by his family to learn a 'suitable' magical craft. It's safe to say that, although they are impressed by their son, his parents still aren't too keen of his choice. Neither were they too pleased when he left the clan to join clan Aldwick instead of joining a respectable clan of nobility. They wouldn't approve of his 'arrangement' with Chex either, but Chex, true to her title, helps keep up the illusion of a committed relationship whenever Wendel's parents decide to visit.

Wendel enchants fabrics for all sorts of purposes, sometimes enlisting the help of Rowan for magical embroidery. Through the society events hosted in the Aldwick gardens Wendel receives a decent number of commissions. His more fashionable work is rather popular among the high society that visit from other clans.

Cai and Winter also sell some of his more practical work to high bidders. More basic items such as scarves and tunics with simple enchantments woven in them.
