Frost

Frost sat on his throne, gazing at the large corridor that sat in front of him. It was silent, except for fire crackling in the corner and the occasional scurrying of Snowkissed Centipede. It was just like Frost liked it. The slightest of sounds echoed over the tall dome ceilings of the palace. “Wow, life is really good right now,” Frost thought, day dreaming of who knows what.

“Frost...uh...Frost…? Are you awake?” A voice knocked Frost back into reality. Frost looked to see who had disturbed his thinking. Maybe they could fetch him a squirrel to eat? “Ah..sorry for disturbing your...dream!”

“Oh, it’s you. What do you have to report?” Frost rolled his eyes and slowly stretched. The spiral standing in front of Frost was Hydra. Hydra was the clan’s trainer at the time. It bothered Frost that he was royalty, and yet a trainer, a mere trainer, had a much, much higher level than him. But what would the people of Frost’s clan think if he was found in the Coliseum?

“The new dragons are here. Are they training to level 25?” Hydra called, seemingly mocking the fact that new dragons would have a higher level than Frost. Dragons from all over the world hoped and wished to come to train with Hydra and be sent to Icewarden.

“No no no! Level 10 at maximum!” Frost cried out of frustration. He took a short breath and gave his order. “Go to the Coliseum now and train them now.” Sometimes, Frost want to replace Hydra for his bad behavior toward him, but it would be too hard to find a new trainer.

Later, Frost walked out of that throne room with a new intention: become a level 25 dragon with perfect abilities and stats. Maybe even he could replace Hydra….maybe that could get him to a higher status in the clan!
