 The metalworker of the clan, Amaustre is as passionate and fired up about her job, and about life, as the roaring flames that she works with day to day. She works fast, and those around her often feel rushed due to her extremely fast pace. She doesn't always do an excellent job due to the fact that she completes it so fast, but she tries her best. You can't really blame her.

Amaustre is hot-tempered, to say the least. If she is kept waiting for more than five seconds, she starts snapping and shouting at the nearest living thing. She also has next to no patience for teaching beginners (not to mention that she's a perfectionist), which is the reason why no dragon has dared to take on the role of her apprentice.

The snappy, fiery one of the squad, Amaustre often ends up at tenterhooks with Eira, as she feels that the calm, collected ice queen doesn't get things done quick enough. She doesn't pay much attention to Veles, and in fact, tries to avoid dealing with the older dragon as far as possible, as he just works way too slowly for her liking.

Her magma embear, Scorch, is her loyal companion, and is one of the few who can hope to match Amaustre's fiery temperament. The two often get into arguments, but that's just their way of expressing their fondness towards each other.

Amaustre is the Fire representative of the clan, and she is a part of the Inter-Flight council of the clan, which serves to understand and perform tasks that meet the needs of the diverse interests of the various clan members. They are a sub-committee, ultimately still yielding to the command of The Committee, which consists of Tempest, the leader Nicoli, the deputy, and a few other members.
