Molten Lava

These dragons are made of searing hot rock, veins of escaped lava are spread out along their body. These lava veins cool to a black or heat up to a glowing orange, largely depending on the emotion of the Molten Lava dragon in question.

The intense internal temperatures of these dragons allow them to practically be walking forges. They often help out clan blacksmiths, due to their ability to consume ore and regurgitate liquid metal for smelting.

When aggravated, the lava veins become intensely bright and hot. Anything to come in contact with them will likely instantaneously burst into flame. The ability to regurgitate liquid hot metal makes them a terrifying enemy in battle, it's usually not a good idea to find out firsthand how far they can spit.
