We are Dagiel and Karael, nest-keepers and hatchling-wranglers for Renegade clan.

We just wanted to let you know that we received your letter, and wished to tell you that your son, now named Omael by our clan leader, is already settling in. We have only one other Fae in our clan, so he is being fussed over quite terribly. He is so young, and so tiny, and so very lovely!

He spends a great deal of his time sleeping, still. Dagiel's familiar is a tremendously old Black Wolf named Nemetona, especially good with the very young and very small hatchlings, and Omael often sleeps curled up in her fur, or rides about on her shoulders. She's a beast of great dignity, so it is rather amusing to see him chewing on her ears or hiding insects in her fur while she pretends not to notice.

When he is not asleep, he is quick and playful, and thoroughly charming, and already displays a rather sharp sense of humor. He laughs at himself often. He already has us wrapped around his little claw, I am afraid. The current lack of other Fae will not be overly troubling to him, I think. He will make friends easily here.

Rest assured that though we are currently an Ice clan, we are warm-hearted and gentle -- Dagiel himself is from Nature Flight and we take care of our own. Omael will be safe and happy with us for as long as he chooses to stay.
