Zirall

Early on, Zirall's mother instilled the lust for battle in him. Being younger, he actually achieved top rank at the same time as Zirath. He carries it a bit father than the coli though, and will agressivly attack any dragon he thinks is trying to attack the clan.

Even though he has similar tastes for battle like his mother, and doesn't give a second thought about fighting dragons, he refuses to take any part of his father's obsession and despises Zizall greatly. Zirall is their only son.. Due to Zizall carrying off most of his siblings to the Flamecaller. He does not understand why his mother favors the male fae, but he keeps it to himself.

Zirath is always on a pedestal in Zirall's mind. He is, in all essence, a momma's boy. There isn't a dragon alive who would openly say though, as no one wants to take either of the guardians on. Zirall will gladly fight any adult though, with no regard to harm for them, nor himself. Hatchlings however, he will only chuckle at and maybe give you a slight tumble into something soft.

Despite his sonly love for his mother, he found his charge at a young age. It was still just the three of them in the lair when a pair of dragons younger than him wandered into their territory. His father would have hauled them off to the Flamecaller, but Zirall was compelled to stop him and found Zizall no match for him. Zirall's charge is his clan.

The clan is a funny little thing. The other dragons closely guard their hatchlings from Zizall (as much as they can), keep a close eye on Zirath, and always know where Zirall is. Even though Zirath has never harmed them, and the two guardians have always protected them, the other dragons lack trust in Zirall to not to as his mother has. What makes it all funny though, is the question on why they all stay. It's simple really. One that Zirall does not grasp though and only shrugs it off that the others are superstitious. The answer.. is fear.

Fear of Zirath and what Zirall might potentially do if they all try to leave, or even kick his parents out of the territory. They would allow Zirall to come with them, but who knows how the now adult and powerful guardian would react at being forced to choose between his beloved mother and his charge. Therefore, the other dragons choose not to test it and to just stay put. They may one day trust him whole heartedly and confide in him, but first he must show them that they can. Unknowingly to him, they will judge this on how he treats his future mate and his offspring. Zirall however, seems to have not much interest in the ladies for now.
