PRINCE OF THE FORGOTTEN KINGDOM


"What can go wrong, will go wrong."
Cursed by a scorned mage before he had even hatched, Prince Armaros spent his childhood being plagued by misfortune. Misplaced belongings, a rip in a coinpurse, an inkwell just short of enough ink - all of these were common inconveniences in his young life. Considering how mundane it was, his parents thought perhaps the mage had failed - after all, why go through the trouble of hexing a royal heir for such meager results?

However, as he got older, the Curse evolved as well. Everyday paths now required frequent detours, and shops never seemed to carry what he needed. Other dragons in his presence began to suffer similar ailments in their everyday lives. Suddenly, Armaros was left a social outcast. His parents assured him they would find a cure, and promised paradise to those who could help.

Unfortunately for Armaros, he had always been Lady Luck’s least favorite.

His mother fell ill, and his father vanished in an accident. Despite the Queen doing her best to rule the kingdom alone, it didn't take long for a neighboring enemy to catch wind of their plight, and Armaros was forced to watch as his kingdom crumbled to dust.

Not wanting to subject anyone else to such disaster, he now spends his days in isolation, wondering what could have been.
